Canary CEO & Founder, Rachel Schneider, spoke on a panel at From Day One’s virtual event on Stress, Anxiety, and the Modern Company’s Role in Promoting Well-Being.
On Wednesday, September 24, 2022 From Day One hosted a virtual event for HR professionals to understand how to be more “nimble and responsive to employee’s stress and anxiety” in a changing world. Rachel joined by other professionals from Zoom, Kaiser Permanente, Garten, and Media.Monks to offer insight into people’s growing sense of financial insecurity and how companies have a role in creating support systems, like employer-sponsored emergency funds, to give employees what they need amidst uncertainty.
“When you ask workers what they are most worried about financial stress ranks right up there just above mental health and physical health as a worry. And that’s only going to be more true now as inflation grows and people are increasingly uncertain about what their economic futures are like.”
